This is the second lesson in our special series on the existence of God.

In this lesson Mike Richardson examines the argument of Cause and Effect in favor of the existence of God. Genesis 1:1 declares that God created the heavens and the earth.  If there is no God, what caused the universe to come into existence?

Men have been questioning God and the existence of God for a very long time.  In Job 38, God asked Job a series of questions he could not answer about the creation of the world, to illustrate that Job was just a man and his understanding was limited. Peter taught that scoffers against God would come in 2 Peter 3:3.  There have always been people who denied God, but God will eventually judge all men.
